Faculty Support for Research and Mentoring
Course-Embedded Research Grants for Full- and Part-Time Faculty
Up to $500 per course section for expenses related to an innovative research or creative assignment in which an entire class participates. Eligible expenses include travel to an off-campus research site, research incentives and supplies not covered by department budgets.
Stipends for Summer Mentoring
Faculty who mentor undergraduate research and creative scholarship in the summer through the Adrian Tinsley Program earn $2,000 per student.
Professional Development and Mentoring Support
Faculty in every department are encouraged to mentor undergraduate researchers in a range of curricular and co-curricular opportunities with the help of disciplinary models, peer-led workshops, mentoring discussion groups, and ideas for research-assignment design.
